Stevi McGee
Children’s Director

Stevi McGee, from Sylacauga AL, came on staff at FBC Chickasaw in September 2017. Stevi is a graduate of the University of Mobile where she received a degree in Sociology with a Social Welfare concentration. While she has experience working with all ages, she loves children and believes that they are like arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior (Psalm 127:4). She firmly believes it is our responsibility as believers to mentor those who are younger than us and teach them the glorious deed of our great God and King! She also knows and values that it is truly the parents who are her partners in this ministry, as Deuteronomy 6 instructs them to be the primary disciple makers of their children.  So, she seeks to build solid relationships with them as well in order to better serve and know the families at FBC Chickasaw.  She has named the ministry, “Next”, modeled after her theme verses of Psalm 78:1-8.  She specifically focuses on verse 7 where it says, “that the next generation might know Him”.
