Taylor Atwell
Children’s Director

Taylor Atwell, from Dothan, Alabama is currently serving as Children’s Director. Taylor is a junior at the University of Mobile and majoring in Theology with a minor in Communication. He got involved with First Baptist Chickasaw this past summer as he worked with Light of the Village’s children’s camp called Camp Faith.  Taylor relates “I was a little bit discouraged at first because I wanted to be placed in the Prichard location but, as always, God had a different plan. I served in Chickasaw the entire summer and fell in love with the children and community. Once the summer camp was over, Pastor Adam gave all of the summer staff the opportunity to become the children’s director at the church. After prayer and seeking the counsel, I decided that the Lord was calling me to serve at First Baptist Chickasaw. The Lord’s plans are far greater than we can ever imagine so I challenge you to make yourself available and allow Him to work in and through your life.”
